Why polyunsaturated fats are good for us?
Polyunsaturated fats have long been found to be essential to the proper functioning of the human body. Without them, we cannot make use of other fats properly. This kind of fat gives essential fatty acids which are known as alpha-linoleic acid and linoleic acid.

This type of acid is readily convertible acid and once it is converted to arachidonic acid, this makes up your cell membranes. with polyunsaturated fats, you can easily store the fats that you need to burn for energy and at the same time, you can easily build cell membranes.
While the need for polyunsaturated fats cannot be discounted, we should, however, know that we should only have what we need. Too much of these kinds of fat can unduly cause nestling of excess fat and cholesterol around your waist. With the wide variety of whole foods that we get each day, we can easily get all the linoleic acid that the body needs. Whether we are following high fat or low-fat diet, having polyunsaturated fats is simply not something that we need to worry about because we even rarely obtain them from vegetable oils that we take in our diet.
